MAD Scientists

Sequoyah Elementary MAD Scientists get recognition! Congratulations to Andrea Allen and Martha Hill for their innovative thinking to create this lab for the students of Sequoyah! Watch the WBIR video now.

Congratulations Farragut High!

Congratulations to the Farragut High School robotics team #3140 and their robot “Penney”. They competed as a rookie team this past week at the Peachtree Regional FIRST Robotics competition in Duluth, Georgia. Penney primarily played offense and scored many points for their alliance. She was one of the few robots with the ability to go under the tunnels and to score points. A special thank you to our sponsor JC Penney for all their support and to the team of teachers who helped make this possible: David Galaska, Michelle Debord and Jill Hudson from CTE and Kristin Baksa, Matt Milligan, and Jane Skinner from Science.
