BMS Science Olympiad Team
Miller Callaway & Retired Science Teacher Bob Fabian
Congratulations to the Bearden Middle Science Olympiad team that won first place in the Southeast Regional Science Olympiad Competition. Their next competition will be on April 2 at UT with the national competition to be held in May. Congratulations to Mr. Miller Callaway, advisor, and the entire Bearden Middle Science Olympiad team! Farragut High School
Congratulations to the Farragut High School Science Bowl team for finishing 3rd in the Department of Energy’s regional Science Bowl. Students from 48 schools across the state participated in this year’s event which focused on chemistry, physics, biology, math,  energy and earth/space science.


Hardin Valley Academy
Hardin Valley students and faculty with the support of their community have been feverishly working to prepare for the FIRST Robotics competition. See their story from WBIR.



CBMS Science Bowl Team
Coaches Charlotte Jennings & Catherine Jennings
The mother-daughter science duo from Cedar Bluff Middle coached the 1st place team for the first annual Science Bowl sponsored by the Department of Energy. They beat out 11 other middle school teams. The team won a $750 cash prize, a first-place trophy, and an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC to compete in the National Science Bowl.
