MISSION:
The mission of the Knox County Schools Science department is to empower students to search, solve, and succeed in order to contribute to and improve our complex world.

Andrew Johnson Building, 10th floor, (865) 594-1736

At Knox County Schools Science we strive to provide those educational experiences that develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes students will need to be successful members of both our local and the larger global communities. We recognize that the world is a changing and dynamic place, and our approach to providing education must constantly be reviewed and adapted to insure we are providing our students the skills they will require to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Department Needs
S3 Project
The science department needs your help with the S3 (S-cubed) project.  S3 represents the "search, solve, and succeed" named in our revised mission statement.

We need teachers (new and veteran both) to help refine departmental efforts in equipping teachers to empower students with S3 skills.  Interested?  Email Becky Ashe with your name, school, and how you'd like to be involved.
